Criteria for Resellers

  1. Possesses strong industry or channel knowledge, connections, resources, etc.
  2. Displays a strong potential to generate sales via cold call, industry relationships, or other resources showing lead generation potential
  3. Ability and passion to make contact and provide presentations to potential clients
  4. Has all resources required to work from home or office: phone, computer, internet, cell phone, email, etc.
  5. Competency in business tools including database maintenance, MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint
  6. Pursue sales at different levels: individuals, corporations & Government (multi-user), and associations/organizations able to communicate with large numbers of individuals or companies.

Duties of the Reselling Partner

  1. Sales
  2. Marketing - The LGE website will generate sales without a reseller involved. There may be occasions where LGE refers leads to the resellers due to the reseller's intimate knowledge of that industry or channel of business. The expectation, however, is that Reseller will use his or her own resources for lead generation.
  3. General client sales support for products for which commissions are earned. (follow-up calls & emails etc.)
  4. Upon approval of the Resellers application, LGE will supply a Reseller Identification Code to the Partner. This code is to be provided to the client for entry at the time of sale or creation of the account OR creation of a venue/event.
  5. Upon creating a Sales Lead and receiving a "yes" that there is intent for that entity to use the LGE/LGV service, and that party has accepted the Reseller Identification Code from the partner, the Partner can submit and "reserve" the lead. This is accomplished by visiting the LGE/LGV website, logging in, and entering the required information on the Lead Reservation webform. Completing a Sales Lead Reservation assures that for 180 days after the completion of the form, no other entity may receive referral commissions for that client. If the client does not enter your referral code during those 180 days, the reservation expires, and the any other Reselling Partner is eligible to refer that entity.
  6. If for any reason another party is identified as the reseller for a purchase, there is no arbitration or negotiations. LGE may, at its discretion decide one of the following: A) split the commissions between the two parties, B) ask the client which is the reseller responsible for the sale and support, C) distribute commissions based upon who the first reseller was to identify the client, and if it has been 180 days or less from the first entry by the first reseller to claim the lead.
  7. Discounts: Reseller has the option to offer discounts to clients. Discount codes will be provided separately to each reseller.
  8. Reseller also has the option of submitting other entities as resellers. In this case, the new reseller will receive full reseller commissions, and the referring reseller will receive referral rewards for sales generated by the new reseller.

  1. Supply the product
  2. Supply after sale technical support after prior to and after the sale is made
  3. Supply all configuration and support services sold to the client.
  4. Ongoing up-sales of services after client is procured (commissions continue to apply)
  5. Payment of commissions to reseller
  6. LGE and LGV will request feedback on reseller performance, and report these results to the reseller

Performance Criteria

  1. LGE products - One sale per quarter
  2. LGV products - no less than one of the following
    • 10 individual subscriptions per quarter
    • 1 corporate or non-profit subscription per quarter
  3. Acceptable reviews by clients (3 or greater on a 5 point scale on satisfaction surveys of reseller's clients)
